Disclaimers & legal notices

These notices apply to the pages of Mr. Blindbandit Access and Opportunity Foundation Incorporated on this website and to any future Foundation programs described here. They are written in plain language. No legal review is claimed for these notices, and they do not replace any law that applies to you.

About the Foundation

Mr. Blindbandit Access and Opportunity Foundation Incorporated is an active Virginia nonstock corporation, incorporated effective September 30, 2026. Federal recognition under Section 501(c)(3) is not yet claimed, no IRS determination letter has been issued, and contributions are not tax-deductible at this time. Official records are in the Document Center.

No guaranteed outcomes

Nothing on these pages, and no participation in any Foundation program, guarantees employment, job placement, interviews, income, certification, admission to any school or program, or any other specific result. Results depend on many things outside the Foundation’s control, including each person’s circumstances and effort.

Educational programs, voluntary participation

The Foundation’s programs, including the six frameworks on the Programs page, are educational. They are in development and are not currently accepting participants. Participation in any future program is voluntary, and participants may stop at any time. Programs may change, be paused or be discontinued.

Not professional advice

Information from the Foundation, its volunteers or mentors is general educational information. It is not professional, legal, financial, tax, medical, mental-health or career-counseling advice. For decisions about those matters, please consult a qualified professional.

Mentors and volunteers

If mentor or volunteer roles are created, mentors and volunteers will share their own experience and opinions. Their views are their own and not statements of the Foundation, and they are not acting as the Foundation’s legal agents unless the Foundation says so in writing.

Third-party links and services

These pages may link to other websites, apps, tools and services, including app stores. The Foundation does not control and does not endorse them, and is not responsible for their content, availability, accessibility or privacy practices. Please read their terms and policies.

Information provided as-is

The Foundation tries to keep these pages accurate and current, but information is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, and may change without notice. Plans described as “planned” or “in development” are intentions, not commitments. If you find an error, email nonprofit@mrblindbandit.net; material corrections are handled as described on the Transparency page.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Foundation and its directors, officers, volunteers and mentors are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of these pages or participation in any program. Nothing in this notice limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Participant responsibility

Participants are responsible for their own decisions, for following program rules and safety guidance, for protecting their own accounts and devices, and for checking whether an opportunity is right for them. Programs involving minors are intended to require appropriate safeguarding and parent or guardian involvement before launch.

Future grants and scholarships

No grant or scholarship is open. If any program is launched, awards will be discretionary and limited by available funding. Meeting eligibility criteria does not guarantee an award. The Foundation intends to keep the right to modify, pause or cancel any grant or scholarship program, and the published rules for each program will control. See Grants & scholarships.

Accessibility commitment

The Foundation aims to make its pages, materials and programs usable with screen readers and other assistive technology. To request an accommodation or report a barrier, email nonprofit@mrblindbandit.net and describe what you need. The main site’s accessibility statement also applies.

Non-discrimination

The Foundation does not discriminate on the basis of disability, race, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law, in its programs, volunteering or any future grants and scholarships.

Privacy

Personal information sent to the Foundation is handled under the site’s Privacy Policy. Please do not send sensitive personal, financial or medical documents by email unless a program specifically asks for them through a secure process. Use of this website is also subject to the Terms of Use.
