MUSIC FOR
YOUR PROJECT.
Ask about using a specific Mr. Blindbandit track in your production.
TELL US ABOUT THE USE
Include the exact track title and version, a description of your production, where it will appear, and your proposed timeline. If possible, include how much of the track you need and whether the project includes advertising.
Music-use requests are handled individually. A link on this site, a stream, or a submission is not permission to use a recording. Ownership and approvals may involve collaborators or other rights holders.
Understanding music licensing
Using a recorded song in a video, film, podcast, game or advertisement usually needs two kinds of permission: one for the recording itself (the master) and one for the underlying composition (the song). For Mr. Blindbandit releases, some tracks involve collaborators who share those rights, so every request is checked individually.
- Tell us the exact track and version — for example Sapphire castles or Sapphire castles (extended version).
- Describe the media, where it will be shown, the territory, the length of time and how much of the track you need.
- Say whether the use is commercial or includes advertising.
- Allow time for a written agreement before publication.
Streaming a song, finding it on this website or submitting a request does not give permission to use it. Content ID systems on video platforms may flag unlicensed uses. For short, non-commercial questions, see copyright and music use. To send a request privately, use the music licensing form.
Start early: allow several weeks before your publication date for review and paperwork.
Keep a copy of any signed license with your project files, including the track title, version and permitted uses.
