Purpose
This Notice explains cookies, browser storage, authentication storage, consent records, and related technologies that may be used on mrblindbandit.net. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.
Strictly necessary technologies
Strictly necessary technologies can support login state, identity and fraud prevention, session integrity, CSRF protection, load balancing, network security, consent-state storage, accessibility choices necessary to provide a selected experience, and other features specifically requested by the user. Disabling them can prevent parts of the service from functioning.
Where law permits strictly necessary technologies without opt-in consent, they may operate without optional-cookie consent. A technology should not be labelled necessary merely because it is useful for advertising, measurement, or convenience.
Preference storage
The site may remember interface preferences such as larger text, contrast, pause-motion choices, language, dismissed notices, or local utility settings. If a preference is not strictly necessary and applicable law requires consent, it should be placed behind the relevant choice.
Authentication technologies
Clerk and configured identity providers may use cookies or equivalent storage necessary to sign a person in, maintain a secure session, prevent abuse, and verify identity. Authentication technologies must use secure attributes appropriate to their purpose and should not be repurposed for unrelated advertising without an appropriate legal basis and notice.
Advertising technologies
Google AdSense and approved advertising partners may use or read cookies, local storage, identifiers, and consent signals for ad delivery, frequency control, measurement, fraud prevention, and personalization where allowed. In regions where consent is required, the consent management platform must control applicable advertising storage and signals before the relevant processing occurs.
Embedded third-party media
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, or other embeds can make network requests to the third party and may use their own technologies. Where practical and required, an embed that is non-essential should be delayed until the required consent exists or replaced initially with a privacy-preserving link or placeholder.
Local-only Media Suite state
Media Suite processing that occurs entirely in the browser can use temporary memory, browser storage, object URLs, and downloaded WebAssembly or JavaScript components. Local processing does not itself mean the source media is transmitted to Blindbandit Records. Clearing the page or browser can remove temporary state depending on implementation.
European regulations message
Advertising requires a verified Google-certified consent platform where Google’s regional requirements apply. Until that activation gate is satisfied, advertising stays disabled. Privacy Choices controls optional media and the site’s own advertising preference; it is not a replacement for a certified platform.
Rejecting or withdrawing consent
Where consent is required, choosing not to consent should not activate the optional processing for which consent was declined. Withdrawing consent should update future processing and stored consent signals. Necessary technologies may remain in use when they are genuinely required to provide a requested service or secure the site.
Browser controls
Users can also delete or block cookies and site data using browser settings. Browser controls can sign a person out, remove saved accessibility or utility preferences, reset a consent record, or prevent features from functioning.
DNT and GPC
Global Privacy Control disables optional advertising and analytics in the site’s privacy controls. Legacy Do Not Track does not change these settings. Directly visited third-party sites manage their own processing.
Cookie inventory requirement
The operator should maintain a current internal inventory containing the cookie or storage key name, provider, host/domain, purpose, category, first- or third-party status, expiration or persistence, and consent requirement. Because vendor names and keys can change, the production inventory should be generated or verified against the live site before publication of a fixed cookie list.
