Purpose
This Notice explains the cookies, browser storage and similar technologies used on mrblindbandit.net and how you can control them. Read it together with the Privacy Policy.
Strictly necessary technologies
Essential technologies keep you signed in, protect accounts and payments against fraud, remember your privacy choice, and provide features you asked for. They run without optional consent because the site cannot work without them. We do not label a technology essential just because it is useful for advertising or measurement.
Preference storage
The site remembers interface preferences you choose — larger text, contrast, pause motion, language and hidden clock — in your own browser. These entries stay on your device and are not used for advertising.
Authentication technologies
Clerk, our sign-in provider, and the label portal use secure, HttpOnly cookies to keep you signed in and to detect suspicious sign-ins. Authentication cookies are never used for advertising.
Advertising technologies
Google AdSense and optional Ezoic advertising may be used on eligible editorial pages. Advertising is currently switched off. The providers follow the site advertising switch and verified consent-platform requirement. When advertising is enabled, optional advertising code loads only after you allow advertising in Privacy Choices. Optional Ezoic analytics also require your analytics choice. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, personalized advertising requires a Google-certified consent platform. Read the Ezoic Privacy Policy and the Privacy Policy for provider disclosures and your opt-out choices.
Embedded third-party media
Spotify, YouTube and Apple Music players are optional. If you have not allowed embedded media in Privacy Choices, those players are removed from the page and you can use the regular links to the services instead. When a player loads, that service may set its own cookies and receive your IP address and browser information.
Local-only Media Suite state
Media Suite processing that occurs entirely in the browser can use temporary memory, browser storage, object URLs, and downloaded WebAssembly or JavaScript components. Local processing does not itself mean the source media is transmitted to Blindbandit Records. Clearing the page or browser can remove temporary state depending on implementation.
European regulations message
Advertising requires a verified Google-certified consent platform where Google’s regional requirements apply. Until that activation gate is satisfied, advertising stays disabled. Privacy Choices controls optional media and the site’s own advertising preference; it is not a replacement for a certified platform.
Rejecting or withdrawing consent
If you decline advertising or embedded media, those technologies are not loaded. If you opt out of analytics, Google Analytics stops using cookies and receives only cookieless measurement signals. You can change your mind at any time with the Privacy Choices button in the page footer. When you withdraw consent, analytics cookies stop being used, embedded players are removed from the page, and the page reloads if you turn advertising off. Essential technologies keep working because the site needs them.
Browser controls
Users can also delete or block cookies and site data using browser settings. Browser controls can sign a person out, remove saved accessibility or utility preferences, reset a consent record, or prevent features from functioning.
DNT and GPC
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of Google Analytics and advertising, and those options cannot be switched on in Privacy Choices while the signal is present. Legacy Do Not Track signals do not change settings.
