Copyright and DMCA Policy

Mr. Blindbandit and Blindbandit Records respect copyright, neighboring rights, trademarks, publicity rights, and other intellectual-property rights. Users may submit, upload, post, convert, render, or otherwise process only material they are legally entitled to use for the requested purpose.

Unless otherwise stated, original site text, branding, graphics, organization, custom software, artwork, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to the operator and may not be copied, republished, sold, or exploited beyond permissions provided by law or express authorization. Third-party music, names, logos, embeds, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

A user who posts or submits material represents that they own it or have sufficient permission to provide it and authorize the service uses described in the Terms. The operator may remove or restrict material reasonably believed to infringe rights, violate law, or breach site rules.

The Media Suite is a file-processing utility. It does not grant copyright permission and must not be used to defeat DRM, access controls, subscription restrictions, or protected streams; scrape or download media in violation of law or applicable rights; or create unauthorized copies merely because a technical conversion is possible.

Users are responsible for obtaining rights to source files, lyrics, artwork, photographs, logos, footage, recordings, compositions, fonts, and other elements used in generated media. A technically successful art track, audiogram, lyric video, thumbnail, or conversion is not a copyright clearance.

Copyright concerns may be sent to copyright@mrblindbandit.net. A report should identify the protected work, identify the material claimed to infringe with enough information to locate it, provide reliable contact information, state the reporter's good-faith basis for the claim, and include any legally required declarations and signature.

The operator may request missing information, disable or remove material, preserve relevant records, notify the affected user, or take other proportionate steps. Knowingly false or materially misleading reports can cause harm and may carry legal consequences.

For a notice intended to invoke 17 U.S.C. section 512, the claimant should include the information required by applicable United States law, including identification of the copyrighted work or a representative list, identification and location of the allegedly infringing material, reliable contact information, a statement of good-faith belief that the complained-of use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law, a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that the complaining party is authorized to act for the owner under penalty of perjury where required, and a physical or electronic signature.

The service may forward a legally sufficient notice to the affected user and may remove or disable access to material expeditiously where appropriate. The service may request clarification when a notice does not provide enough information to identify the work, locate the material, or establish the reporter's authority.

Where material is removed or disabled in response to a qualifying United States DMCA notice, the affected user may be able to send a statutory counter-notification containing the elements required by law, including identification of the removed material and prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury regarding mistake or misidentification, the required consent to jurisdiction and service where applicable, contact information, and signature.

If a legally sufficient counter-notice is received, the operator may forward it to the original claimant and may restore the material after the statutory waiting period unless the claimant provides notice of a filed court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity. The current Section 512 framework generally describes a restoration window of not less than 10 and not more than 14 business days after forwarding a valid counter-notice, subject to the statute and circumstances.

Where appropriate and in suitable circumstances, accounts of repeat copyright infringers may be terminated. The operator may also act against repeat fraudulent notices, harassment through the reporting process, or attempts to misuse copyright procedures to suppress lawful speech.

A person outside the United States may still send an intellectual-property report. The operator can evaluate it under applicable law, platform obligations, contracts, and available remedies even when the U.S. DMCA procedure is not the controlling law.

The operator may preserve notices, counter-notices, moderation decisions, correspondence, account identifiers, and evidence for a reasonable period needed to administer the process, establish or defend claims, respond to regulators, or document repeat-infringer enforcement. Personal information in those records is handled under the Privacy Policy.

Removal, restoration, refusal, or account action is not a judicial determination of ownership, infringement, fair use, license scope, or damages. The service may make practical platform decisions while leaving underlying legal rights unaffected.
