FOR CREATIVE PARTNERS
GIVE YOUR
IDEA SHAPE.
Build a concise project brief, then copy it or open it in your email app.
What makes a good project brief
A brief is a short written description of a creative project that helps both sides decide quickly whether it is a good fit. The builder above prepares the text on your device; nothing is sent until you copy it or open it in your email app.
- Project type and purpose: for example a song feature, production, a video soundtrack or a podcast theme.
- What you are making: two or three sentences about the idea and the audience.
- References: a link to your work and one or two reference tracks, with a note on what you like about them.
- Timeline: the date you need it by, and any fixed events such as a launch.
- Budget range: even a rough range helps. Leave it out if you would rather discuss it.
Send the brief through the studio inquiries or creative partnerships pages, or email business@mrblindbandit.net. Nothing on this page creates a contract, a signing, a fee or an obligation to reply; any engagement needs a separate written agreement.
An example brief
“Project type: video soundtrack. We are a small travel channel making a ten-minute film about accessible hiking. We are looking for calm, atmospheric music like the album weightless. Deliverables: one three-minute piece plus a 30-second version. Timeline: final music by 1 December. Budget: to be discussed.”
The details above are an example only. Short and specific is better than long and vague.
Keep a copy of every brief you send, with the date, so you can refer back to it if the project goes ahead.
