Check the link
Open your link in a signed-out window before submitting. If it requires a password, include it. Avoid links that expire before someone can listen.
Introduce yourself
Use your artist name, a contact email, and a short explanation of the project. Mention whether it is released or unreleased, and name your collaborators.
Say what you are looking for
Tell us whether you are introducing your music, proposing a collaboration, or seeking a conversation about a release. Keep the request specific.
Send once, clearly
Complete the music submission form. Keep a copy of the links and details you sent. Use the contact email if a material detail needs correcting.
A sample introduction
Here is an example of a short, complete introduction you can adapt:
“Hi, I’m Jordan Rivera, an independent producer from Cebu. I’m sharing an unreleased ambient single called Harbor Lights (3:42), co-written with Mia Santos, with no samples. Private link: [your link], password: harbor. I’d love feedback and to know whether a collaboration might fit. Thanks for listening.”
It names the artist, the track, its status, the collaborators, the rights situation, the link and the request, in five sentences. The names above are examples only.
Before sending, you can use the interactive prepare your release checklist to make sure credits, rights and links are ready.
Common mistakes
- Links that need a login or expire within days.
- No contact email, or a misspelled one.
- Several unrelated tracks with no explanation.
- Not mentioning samples or collaborators.
Fixing these before you submit makes it much more likely that your music is heard the way you intended.
