Prepare your release
Use this checklist to organize a release before contacting the label. Your selections stay in this browser; they are not sent to Blindbandit Records.
Ready to introduce your music?
Completing the checklist does not submit your music or guarantee distribution. Review any proposed terms before agreeing to work together.

Why each item matters
- Ownership of the master: the person or company that owns the recording controls where it can be released.
- Writers, producers and featured artists: credits drive royalties and help listeners find collaborators.
- Spelling of names and titles: small differences can split an artist profile into two on streaming services.
- Final audio: distributors usually ask for a high-quality WAV; check their exact requirements.
- Artwork permission: you need the right to use every image, font and logo on the cover.
- Samples and beats: uncleared samples or unlicensed beats are a common reason releases are taken down.
- Credits and splits: agree them in writing before release, not after the money arrives.
- Working listening link: test it signed out before sharing it with anyone.
Your progress is saved only in this browser. Screen-reader users can move between items with the checkbox or form-field navigation keys, and the status line announces how many items are complete.
