BLINDBANDIT RECORDS / ABOUT
THE LABEL.
THE PERSPECTIVE.
Music and independent creation, connected by a distinct point of view.
FOUNDED BY AN ARTIST
Blindbandit Records was founded by Mr. Blindbandit, the artist and producer also known as Kaeleb Heck. His work across music, video, and digital storytelling shapes the label’s creative identity.
With Virginia roots and a home in the Philippines, his public creative world connects places, sounds, and people. The music reflects a willingness to move between atmospheric projects and beat-driven releases.
SPACE FOR CONNECTION
Accessible technology and screen readers are part of the founder’s own creative process. That experience sits alongside a focus on independent work and collaboration.
Artists can introduce their music through the submission form. A submission starts a conversation; it is not an offer of a record deal or a commitment to distribute or promote a release.
Why an artist-run label
Kaeleb started releasing music as Mr. Blindbandit in 2018 and uses Blindbandit Records as the label identity for his releases. Running his own label means making the decisions about titles, versions, artwork, credits and release dates directly, and doing much of that work with screen readers and keyboard commands.
Principles
- Credit every contributor clearly. Collaborators such as true_explores, Trukidchris and Yxngfery are credited on the releases they appear on.
- Be honest about scale. The label does not claim a roster, chart positions or services it does not offer.
- Make communication accessible. Plain-text briefs, clear links and labelled forms work better for everyone, including blind artists and listeners.
- Protect artists’ ownership. Submitting music never transfers rights.

Where to go from here
Listeners can start with the catalog and collaborators. Artists can read how demo review works. Everyone can follow new releases through the feeds or the mailing list.
