Where to read the personal story
Kaeleb shares personal chapters of his life in his own words, and this website keeps them separate from the reference biography so readers can choose the level of detail they want.
- I Didn’t See the Philippines for the First Time. I Heard It. is his first-person account of growing up blind with his mom, Celyne, and his siblings, travelling constantly between Virginia and Florida, and flying alone to the Philippines in August 2024 to meet Emma in person.
- Why Blindness Shouldn’t Hold You Back From Traveling the World turns that journey into practical advice for blind and visually impaired travellers: planning, airport assistance and navigating unfamiliar places.
- Penn Foster Gave Me a Way to Graduate tells how he finished high school with a 4.00 GPA.
- A Journey Beyond Blindness reflects on independence and the tools that make it possible.
