About this tool

The time-zone planner shows one moment in several places at once: Manila, New York, Los Angeles, London and UTC. It was built for the reality of working between the Philippines and the United States, where a call at a sensible hour for one person can be the middle of the night for another.

How to use it

  1. Enter a date and time in the Date and time field.
  2. Choose the time zone that date and time belongs to in the Starting time zone list.
  3. Choose Run tool. The same moment is listed for every location, including the full date and time-zone name.

Screen-reader and keyboard tips

Results appear in a live region, so VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS and TalkBack read the answer as soon as it is ready without moving your focus. Press Tab to move between fields and Shift+Tab to go back. On an iPhone or iPad, swipe right with one finger to move through the form and double-tap to activate a button.

Questions and answers

Does it handle daylight saving time?

Yes. Your browser’s time-zone data applies daylight saving time for New York, Los Angeles and London automatically. The Philippines does not use daylight saving time.

Can I add other cities?

The planner currently covers the five locations listed.

Privacy

The conversion runs in your browser using its built-in time-zone data. Nothing is sent or saved. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
