The royalty split checker confirms that the shares agreed between collaborators add up to exactly 100 percent, and creates a summary you can download and share while you prepare a written agreement.
How to use it
- Enter each participant’s name and their percentage share. Up to four participants are supported.
- Choose Check shares. The total is shown along with a status line saying whether the shares equal 100 percent.
- Choose Download summary to save a dated text summary.
Screen-reader and keyboard tips
Results appear in a live region, so VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS and TalkBack read the answer as soon as it is ready without moving your focus. Press Tab to move between fields and Shift+Tab to go back. On an iPhone or iPad, swipe right with one finger to move through the form and double-tap to activate a button.
- The summary lists each participant on its own line, followed by the total and status, which makes it easy to review by line.
- Adjust any share and check again until the status confirms the total is 100 percent.

Questions and answers
Is the summary a contract?
No. It is a planning document. Put the final splits in a signed written agreement.
Master or composition?
Master recording splits and composition (publishing) splits are usually separate. Check each one on its own.

Names and shares stay in your browser; the downloaded summary is saved only to your device. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
