The checklist maker turns a list of items into a clean checklist you can save, print or download as a text file. Use it for packing lists, release tasks, study checklists or anything you repeat.
How to use it
- Give your checklist a title.
- Type the items, one per line.
- Choose Build and save. Each item appears with an empty checkbox symbol.
- Download the checklist as a text file or print it.
Screen-reader and keyboard tips
Results appear in a live region, so VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS and TalkBack read the answer as soon as it is ready without moving your focus. Press Tab to move between fields and Shift+Tab to go back. On an iPhone or iPad, swipe right with one finger to move through the form and double-tap to activate a button.
- Items are read in the order you typed them, each starting with a checkbox symbol your screen reader may announce as “ballot box”.
- Blank lines are removed automatically, so you do not need to tidy the list first.
Ways people use it
- Packing lists for travel.
- Release-day or recording-session checklists.
- Morning and evening routines.
Questions and answers
Is my checklist saved?
Yes, in this browser’s local storage, so it is still there the next time you visit on the same device.
Can I tick items on the page?
The generated list is a printable text checklist. For a checklist that remembers ticked items, try the release metadata checklist.
Privacy
The checklist stays on your device and is never sent to the site. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
