Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your account for Mr. BlindBandit Mobile, the Android and iPhone app published by Mr. Blindbandit Access and Opportunity Foundation Incorporated. The same account is used on mrblindbandit.net, so deleting it removes your account from both.

Option 1: delete in the app

  1. Open Mr. BlindBandit Mobile and sign in.
  2. Go to More, then Settings.
  3. Choose Account & profile.
  4. Choose Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted right away and you are signed out on that device.

Option 2: request deletion by email

If you can't use the app, email privacy@mrblindbandit.net with the subject "Account deletion request". Send it from the email address on your account and include your username. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address before we act. We complete verified requests within 30 days and reply to confirm.

What we delete

  • Your account, sign-in details, username, display name and profile (photo and bio).
  • Your posts, comments, BanditBites videos and other content you uploaded.
  • Your direct messages and call history linked to your account.
  • Your notification (push) tokens, blocks, mutes and app settings stored with your account.

Voice and video calls are streamed live and are not recorded, so there are no call recordings to delete.

What we may keep, and for how long

  • Safety and moderation records, such as reports you made or received and actions taken, may be kept for a limited period to protect other users, handle appeals and prevent abuse.
  • Records the law requires us to keep, such as payment, tax or legal records, are kept for as long as the law requires.
  • Backups may hold deleted information for a limited rolling period before they are overwritten.
  • Messages you sent to other people may stay visible in their copy of a conversation where needed to keep their records, but they are no longer linked to your profile.

When information is no longer needed and no legal duty requires us to keep it, we delete or anonymize it. See our Privacy Policy for details.
